Jon Armstrong
I’m Jon Armstrong, a rally driver from Kesh, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
I started rallying as a teenager, inspired by the Irish rally scene and the atmosphere of the sport. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up through the ranks — from local events to the Junior WRC and eventually to the European Rally Championship, where I won the ERC3 title in 2023. In 2024, I stepped up to drive a Ford Fiesta Rally2 with M-Sport, a huge milestone in my career. The following season, in 2025, I finished runner-up in the overall ERC standings with two event victories — a result that showed the progress we’ve made as a team and how close we are to fighting for the title.
Alongside my real-world rallying, I’ve also been heavily involved in sim racing and game development. I won the WRC eSports Championship in 2018 and later joined the Codemasters/EA team as a rally consultant and game designer, helping to make their games more authentic for fans and drivers alike. Rallying has always been my passion — whether it’s behind the wheel or behind a screen — and I’m constantly pushing to learn, improve, and chase the next stage win.
